This is because the festival is a very popular event. In terms of the total number of hopheads this is the best in South Australia which is the second largest hopstar city according to the most recent figures from the Australian Hop Survey 2015. Hipsters from Sydney like the idea of hopping to Adelaide, and hipsters from Adelaide like the fact that they can go there for the hop music festival which is on a Saturday (or Sunday night in Melbourne and Brisbane) as opposed to a Saturday or Sunday in Sydney.
In 2020 there were 1,052 shows at Rhino Rave Fest Australia so there are some good hop music festivals around the world and Adelaide is not the only one that has them as well. But I will talk about one last thing about the biggest hopstar in South Australia, in terms of the number of hopheads there. When I was visiting this city and there were just around 30 or so clubs in Adelaide for the past few years, when I arrived, I was not sure how many there would be.
I went with a few friends and they said that there were roughly 30+ clubs, but we couldn't figure it out, and I ended up going to more than one or a few. It wasn't a huge crowd, mostly because most people were not going to be going there, but it felt like there was enough music going on. I don't know what the future of the hopstar scene in Adelaide will be. I just know that I will be going back to Adelaide, and I look forward to going to more hopstar events and doing more hopstar parties.

There was just one show last week so I decided to just go out and find a show there. Jive is an absolute dump! I went there last night with my friend Arabella, and it was a complete waste of time. The music was terrible, the drinks were overpriced, and the bathroom stalls were so disgusting I almost threw up! The majority of the songs played during my visit were from the 80s and 90s, with very few modern hits or international tracks being played.
