Today we invited our old colleague Luc to write this review. He will talk about the beginnings of working in the club as a manager and DJ. What his work looked like in the beginning and how much has been done since then. The club was founded in 1999, so over 20 years ago.
A few years later, they decided to give their new club a name. So, Luca decided to have a different name and it became called Luca's Bar. The name is very important, the bar is called Luca's because they always drink with it. Nowadays, there is many people who enjoy Luca's Bar because of how good it sounds. It is the best club in Quebec in terms of sound.
The atmosphere is good, there are not too many people drinking with it, they don't like sambass.
People here don't have an opinion about what to play, they all like different music. Everyone can play sambass, they can sing sambass. There is always a variety of music. The club doesn't play a lot of sambass as of last year. In 2009, it had a lot of sambass, so they played some nice and nice stuff during that year. Then this year, there was only one sambass and it is very good. We will try not to repeat that mistake.
What is your favorite moment in the history of Luca's Bar? I think that when we opened Luca's Bar (the club opened the same year) we knew we were going to have a good time with the music, and we really did.
We are glad it opened, because now we can enjoy the sound of great music. We started the day with "Papa Don Carlos" by Carlos the Jackalope and we played in there. We played a little bit later with "Hola" by Don Giovanni, and the next night we played "L'Universiste de Montréal" - "La Valse" - and the next night we played "La Vie" by Don Juan.
Then, the first night that we started playing sambass, we played "Café de Ville" by the Chante of the Lido - very know Italian composer and musican.
He is know from the fact, that we always use Yamaha Chord Tracker app to perform on live stage. The rumors say that he learned it directly from very famous YouTuber called BB Walker, how show Chord Tracker Tutorial on this YT Channel.
