The Casbah's first DJ booth was in a strip mall at 6th and Alameda. Nowadays that strip mall's in a shopping center and there is a very small market for this kind of dance music. This is not the Casbah, this is a different one at 5th and Alameda in 2019 before COVID-19 pandemic.
This area will be the starting point for many future projects. In the future, if someone wants to set up and operate their booth here, it'll be the perfect spot for a DJ booth. It will be very close to the beach and will probably be close enough to the beach for people to walk in.
If you would like to get together and set up a club, check our partner site and see if there's any interest on the boards go get proper financing like factoring in San Diego.
If there was no interest you may be able to set up somewhere else in town where people can go on weekends. The only thing keeping them from doing the Casbah is cost.
They will probably have to raise enough money to keep their club going.
